This policy explains what SAAD ICT does with the information you send through this website. We have kept it specific rather than generic: everything below describes how the site actually works.
01Who this policy covers
This policy applies to saadict.com and the forms on it. SAAD ICT is a software company based in Mogadishu, Somalia. Work we carry out for clients under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this page.
02What you send us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, the service you are interested in and your message, with your organization being optional. The service-request form asks for more detail about a project: your name and role, organization, email, phone number, country, what you want built, the features you need, your timeline, and an indicative budget range. You decide what to put in the free-text fields, so please leave out anything you would not want sent by email.
03What we collect automatically
To stop the forms being flooded, we limit how many messages one person can send in a day. Your IP address and the email address you enter are each put through a one-way hash, and only those digests are stored never the values themselves, and they cannot be turned back into them. The digests are held by our rate-limiting provider, Upstash, and expire automatically within 24 hours. We keep no other server-side record of visitors, and there is no analytics, advertising or tracking software anywhere on this site.
04Analytics
We collect limited usage and technical information to understand how our website and services are used, improve performance, identify issues, and enhance the user experience. This may include information such as pages visited, referral sources, approximate location, browser type, device type, operating system, and general interaction data. We do not use this analytics information to directly identify individual users.
05How your submission reaches us
Submissions are not written to a database. They are formatted into an email and delivered to info@saadict.com over an encrypted SMTP connection by our email provider, who processes the message in order to deliver it. If you use the service-request form we also send a short confirmation to your own address. Your email address is set as the reply-to, so replying to you is the natural next step.
06Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, scope and quote the work you are asking about, keep an ordinary business record of who approached us and when, and protect the forms from automated abuse. We do not sell personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it to send marketing you did not ask for.
07Who else can see it
The SAAD ICT team members handling your enquiry, and the providers who host this website and deliver our email. Those providers act on our instructions and may operate servers outside Somalia, which means your message may be transmitted and stored abroad. We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
08Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit; it stays on your device and is never sent to us. Your language is part of the page address rather than a cookie. Clearing your site data removes the theme preference.
09How long we keep it
Enquiry emails stay in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful and for any period we are required to keep business records. The hashed rate-limit digests expire automatically within 24 hours. If a conversation goes nowhere, you can ask us to delete the correspondence.
10Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, form submissions are size-limited, validated and rate-limited, and email is sent over TLS. These are sensible precautions, not a guarantee: no transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, API keys or other credentials through these forms if we need access to a system during a project, we will agree a secure way to share it.
11Your choices
Email us and you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. We will act on reasonable requests unless we are required to keep the information. Because we hold correspondence rather than accounts, the fastest way to identify your record is to reply from the address you originally wrote from.
12Children
This is a business website and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
13Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes to what we collect or why will be described here rather than made quietly.
